Here we go, main street in Luxor, Egypt. The road on the left and right of the pic are the same STRAIGHT road :D This was taken from our hotel roof.

Sorry it's a bit long...... I do have another of the main courtyard at Karnak Temple, but it's a full 360 Deg so is a hell of a lot bigger :D I also have one from Mohammed Ali's Mosque in Cairo which is a little over 180 Degs

Thanks Steve. I'd got hold of a little bit of software bundled with something else not long before we went, so thought I'd give it a try. I took nine good pictures to achieve that panoramic shot. You simply add the pics to the programme, and then it 'Stitches' them together. You can adjust any of the seams that it gets wrong by hand. It even adjusts the colour for you as well.

I'd like to go to the Eiffel tower in Paris or some other high up place to get some more decent shots to try it again.

it was a quick trigger finger. tbh it was a fantastic storm that night. lightning striking all over the sea. i wish i had a tripod they would have been even better. i couldn't keep the camera still enough so they are a little blurry.

i must have looked like a right twat as i had my didi camera and an old metal russian 35mm slr camera around my neck standing by a high metal fence. i'm suprised i came away alive that night :rofl: :rofl:

 

btw it was pitch black that night the lighning lit up the sea like daylight amazing :bow:

Took these on my Honeymoon in South Africa last year - on safari. I would recommend it to anyone It was a fantastic experience being that close to wild animals.
