I know some of you guys run it and some are going to install it .....but have you considered ...Co2 boils ( evaporates ) at -78c therefore cooling the charge in the intercooler , however Nitrogen which is much more readily available and probably cheaper boils off at -196 so giving much more cooling and therefore far better charge properties , would it not have the advantage of lowering the charge temp reducing the possibility pre ignition and det and give a much greater possibility to up the boost and fuel without the danger of det ??

-196 is pretty fecking cold. If it would be better and cheaper to use, people would be doing it so there must be a good reason. Like too high a temperature gradient- maybe you'd just end up cracking the I/Cs?

i thought that  , but if the cooling spray was fogged through a screen from behind the IC a few centimeters away from the IC the temp shock would be lessened , spead of cooling area hightened , and charge temp dropped ...any way just a thought :x:
