I think birds with feathers are great. It's the ones with a hairy pu**y you got to look out for

I knew a bird that was a dog that had crabs as pets.....! Anyway - Lovely looking Owl there Ian - I am very impressed.

I need a European Eagle Owl to keep the fookin heron from nicking all my fookin fish from the pond....lolol

How did you get a Barn Owl you need a permit to keep them in captivity.

i would love another bird of prey. i had a barn owl years ago and often thought about getting another but cant find one anywhere. ithink the laws have now changed on owning them is that right and is that why there so hard to get hold of.

I know a breeder up here £50 each give me a shout if you want one.

The laws are still the same you can keep captive bred no problem.

Owls are beautiful, much nicer than all those nasty creepy crawly things you have. I wasn't even aware that you were allowed to keep owls actually - thought they were protected.

I have bats, but they have more rights to my house than I do !!! ;)

They are protected Andy, but you can keep captive bred.

I used to have a Harris Hawk, a Great Horned Owl and a Kestrel. Falconry is a great hobby - you get a real buzz the first time you fly your bird free !

Nice one Jeremy, ever thought of getting back into it?

There's a couple of ospreys nesting in my roof.

I used to have a farm with 18 acres - which was ideal space for flying. Now I am in a residential area, which would make it difficult - though I would definately like to get back into it one day.

This is my Harris Hawk - Woodstock and my Owl - Cartman
