Basically my parents have just had a major amount of work done because of an insurance claim but they need to bill the insurance company for the decorating work they have done but have no idea how much to charge them for the work they have done themselves..

 

what is the going hourly rate for painting new plaster and sanding and varnishing skirting and doors??

£100 a day if it insurence claim you can hit em a bit more.

 

Hang on a min i ask the woman she got the decoraters in at the mo lol

Just paid 17.50 an hour had 3 quotes, chose the one who had most work on as he came reccomended , all were about that price , works out about 400 quid a full average size room
