Unlucky bud :(

That's why I sold my monster calipers I got, and I was gutted!

I didn't want to spend £400 on each brake disc to find out I couldn't accommodate them, too many variables and my bottle went.

they look lovely behind them wheels. almost same size as the wheels. hope you get it sorted mate

dave they are the same as my old wheels, they dive in to much just at the end dont they,,,,sell me your brakes, and i will throw in my 324 brembos disc

Dave i have the same wheels as you and when i fitted my Brembos i had the same problem.A quick trip to Halfrauds for some 6mm spacers sorted that out.

Heres a pic of them.

they have spacers on in the pic. any further and they would have the tyres poking out teh wings

i think you may struggle with your wheels as it doesnt look like you get much clearance with them, i only just managed to fit my 6 pot AP's and they only had 343mm discs

the calipers need a good 3-5mm clearance from the back of the wheel.

you may if you want to keep the brakes need to change the wheels to a different style and go with a wheel with a good brake clearance like Rays etc

look good though ;)

i bit like these with Brembo R33's.......17in wheel..

whys that? My stockers have about 1mm clearance if not less.

that means the wheel weights will need to be fixed on the outside. defeats the object of nice shinney alloys

well brakes get very hot so you dont want them too close to the wheels ;)

to be honest chris it looks like the actual caliper is struggling to fit behind the wheels width wise and length wise rather than depth? maybe the pic is misleading but it looks very very close to the inside circumference of your rim?

LOL it is in fact touching and is not sitting on the spacer properly. has about 3mm to go. And thats with it modified.

I just dont want 19" rims as they are going to slow the car up for what I want it to do. If it was purely for asthetics I wouldnt bother touching the brakes as they are, I want these for a purpose, to stop teh fooking car after 5 hard goes on teh pedal

hmmm then your pretty stuffed mate as you can space the wheels out as far as you want but if the physical size of the caliper wont fit behind the wheel then your knackered.

tell you what, measure the length of the caliper and width and depth and i will do the same with my 6 pot APs to see if theres much size difference?
