Last month alone I spent £786 on Optimax and £577.31 on parts and labour.

Previous month I spent £2500 in parts and labour, + £550 for some wheels and £300 refurbing them and the month before £2500 on parts.

+ I need a new diff and a load of silly little bits that got taken of and never returned from GPS.

So in three months I have spent £6,427.31 on repares and upgrades. Proberbly more as I haven't added up the tweeks bills and a staggering £1,771.00 of Optimax.

Thats £136 petrol aweek.

Thats almost £40,000 pounds spent on this car in 2 years and 4 months excluding fuel.

I'm going to sort the diff and then proberbly sell it.

That is madness and the amount of grief. If I'd have enjoyed it all I wouldn't give a dam, but I haven't. I think I'm going to draw line under it and sell it. Then save up for a Noble.

S******y death mate. Doesn't bear thinking about

ouch, but are you enjoying it now? Sounds like you've done nearly everything you want, so stop modding and just make the most of it for a while :)

That's a lot of money.

By my calculations you could have flown to Ko Lanta near Thailand, booked into the 'Reggae House' hotel and lived there, with food and booze for about four years for the £8,000 odd.

Obviously with £40K you could make that 20 odd years. You'd probably be bored with it by then though.

yes madness to own a Zed and your point is....

what do you think the noble will cost in part's and labour.....

you got to go round the RING in her bud just the once....????

hey, i've been there!

Fatal mistake No.1: Don't add it all up!!! :nono:

Unfortunately very, very true! Mark I can really sympathise buddy. JD and I started adding things up (not just the V8 but everything that's been or being done) the other week and I nearly had a coronary! I know you've got big plans for the look of your Zed but maybe hang fire on these for a while and just enjoy her for a bit before taking the plunge again? Saying that, I would never say no to a Noble...;)

This doesn't shock me either. I've done about 3 grand the last 3 months on repairs

I just am not enjoying it.

Ever since I drove the Noble in anger on the circuit nothing else lights my fire. + I spend all my time Gauge whatching. Pushing hard then backing off before she fries. 10 minute buzz is at a time is just not enough.

I realized today that I'll never get my Zed to perform like I want, because what i want really is a Noble. I can keep saying, " yep but I've spent so much I've got to stick with it and see it through". But why. I could have had 2 Nobles.

Your Right Wozzer it won't be cheeper, but I'll be spending the same money on Track time and more trips like the NurbergRing Run. Instead off constantly trying to get my car to work as I want it to. Which it carn't because its a Zed and not a Noble.

So because I can't buy a Noble now unless her indoors can understand my pain and put it before the completion of the Barn. ( Don't think so) then I'll keep her till winter and sell in spring.

Thats it Mind made up and I feel better, because I'm going to keep my Noble Standard and just rape it at weekends.

Though Thiland does sound like a more sensible option.

Here You go. Perfect example of why these cars just induce you to spend money you really shouldn't. I just looked at Glens rides and thought what a smart rear bumper. that would look good in mine. I made my mind up to sell it and i'm still buying. It has to srop.

LOL Mark dont get me started on shitty Nobles

This is a friend of mine that paid 50k for her M12 last year I can give you her number if you want ( to talk Nobles only  ) and when you hear of all the shit crap and *****cks she has had with it you will probably buy a new Mini PMSL
