firstly i think i may have a vac leak i can hear hissing on the passenger side rear of the engine, tried all the pipes cant find it,also sounds like one on the drivers side also by the egr feed pipe can hear it as soon as the revs pick up nothing, could it be because i have silicone pipes i can hear vacuum in the pipes? (must say plenhum has been off and have done a water/vac bypass)

so it has a new pipe to the egr, alos where the iaa plugs in there are two connectors in that area which one plugs into the higher of the 2 valves yellow or white? not sure if i may have reversed these, although the car ticksover fine as soon as i turn on the a/c the revs drop instead of increasing and idle is lumpy many thanks in advance for any help kev

check the egr feeds to the plenum,if you have removed egr pipes and refitted either they are not tight enough and leaking or a small bit of sealant may be required, failing that pop up and il have a look over :)
