Right went to see Miami Vice on Sunday, has anyone else seen it? What did you think?

 

I wasn't hugely won over, i loved Heat by Michael Mann (a remake of his old film LA Takedown) but this just didn't really go anywhere.

 

Mann's got an ear for noise, the shootout sequences are excellent and the sound effects from the guns and from the cars/boats are amazing.

 

Anyone else?

How can you ever compete with the original? (Not seen film yet) Plus who the hell cast Jason Fox? Just doesn't seem appropriate, not in the same vein...

It's Jamie Foxx lol Not Jason, he was in Collateral and Ray and he's also the guy who sings with Kanya West in Golddigger

 

Very good actor.

 

Not the same without the opening sequence of the tv show.

 

Not the best film in the world but loved that ferrari 430 mmmmmm :)
