my Z just doesnt seem as fast as it should be!!!!! :(

since the decat and 3" exhaust was put on the Z is more responsive and sounds great, but when i turn the boost controller on it just dosent have the same mad push in the back that it used to have, the boost gauge it saying that its boosting up to 14 psi. :headvswal

any ideas?

Have you done an ecu error code check?

I have datascan if that helps. Just meet up somewhere if u need to use it.

yep, could be in Safety mode. The Boost controller will stop it going to safety boost but (depending on which ecu chip) the timing will be retarded and using safety fuel maps.

code 55, so all ok there

the chip is an unknown jap chip, maybe it just needs re mapping, because of the new exhaust.

it might just be in my head, because there isn't much turbo lag any more?

i'm going to fit a HKS EVC 5 and 555s next then get her remapped, fingers crossed it should do the trick.

any other ideas?
