hi guys my cars going in for the auto/manual conversion in a couple of weeks,and i was thinking of putting a lightened flywheel on at the same time what do you think ,agood idea or not and are there any problems that can result from fitting one ,also proberbly will fit a set of unorthodox pulleys as well any views or advice ? thanks guys.

iv got both lightwieght flywheel & pully - good mods IMO :)

IMO these are 2 really good mods, because they liberate a little more power to the wheels and help the engine to be more responsive.

 

One word of causion though. If your going for and ally fly wheel such as a Fidenza the I think you should stay away from the puck/ paddle clutches as they are unpleasant to use and eat flywheels.

 

Other than that go for it and enjoy.

 

Believe it of not sometimes I miss the auto box and if I were to do it all again I think I'd go for a strengthend auto box and a stick shift at will. that way you have the best of both worlds. Stick it in auto round town and use it as a manual on the open road.
