Hi,

Trying to play a video file and windows media player is coming up with "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. One or more codecs required to play the file could not be found." Any ideas how to sort this?

Thanks

Vijay

you beat me to it! The K-Lite pack is the ONLY codec pack you will ever need. downloaded the recent Beta of the Mega pack the other day, mental how much work must have gone into it!!

yep VLC is top notch will play about anything right out the box, and imo better than the directshow codec's can do it too.
