auto uk spec BHP?

i saw in a mag (think it was autocar) a few years back that the UK spec 300zx AUTO was 189BHP is that true????

    although Nissan states the Auto as being 268bhp (smaller tubs and differed cams to make up for responsiveness with autobox)

    i test drove a AUTO UK spec NO WAY IS IT FASTER TO 100MPH, 2 Ford KA's and a milkman flew past me
