How do you rate Falken tyres? One of my mates uses Falken tyres and he reckons they pretty good.

I looked on there web site (http://www.falkentyres.co.uk) and if these tyres are good, check out the prices.

I wouldnt have anything else on either of my Z's now!! Awesome tyres!

Yep, Ive just replaced my rear tyres for FK-452's. They grip well, not tried them in the wet yet tho.

Ive sung the praises of the falken 451's for years now since being around skylines as they all use them, i was always a goodyear F1 user but would not go back now as the grip is superb and they last pretty well as well ;)

How strange as they are dreadful in the wet compared with Eagle F1's but they are good in the dry. I've driven on both in the RX7 and would never use them again in the wet. I call them fair weather tyres LOL. I'd prefer Toyo or Pirrelli for my Zed but that's my personal choice. But you have to find what you like best. Good hunting

I find them great in the wet, maybe its more down to suspension setup which i think people confuse with the tyre grip as they go hand in hand.

Funny how you say you prefer toyos and there basically the same tyre ;) same tread but the falkens have a slightly softer compound hence more grip

Mike

Yeah I was told they're made at the same factory as Toyo's?

Some very similar tread patterns too.

Prefer the look of the 451's to the new 452's though.

Agree with Mike, the Falkens are excellent in the Wet, as good if not better than the F1's I used to have.

The grip on my car is really good…. I’ve got lowered and adjustable suspension which is a pretty hard ride but it’s like it’s on rails.

Thanks for all the advice it’s been a big help.

Best wishes to all

Yep, must agree, can't go wrong with these got a pair of them on the rear and they're wicked

I dont have much experience with different high performance ttyres but when i went from my original dire Bridgestone X-Grid to Falken 451's the improvement was immense. My zed now grips the road going around tight bend where before it was like a Cortina on a bad day.

Yeah but he said he had them on an rx7, most 300s couldnt pull the skin of a rice pudding, you see its different when you've got a fast car...
