Hi all,

Cleaning a few connectors etc tonight and the Water Temp sensor (i think thats what it is..left of the ECU Connector with yellow plug?) anyway while the engine was running, i 'twiddled' it, and it sounded like a fan kicked in, when i stopped the fan stopped..the main fan (under the shroud) was already spinning, but it sounded like another one kicked in..so im thinking maybe the connector seen better days and needs replacing..im not sure , ive never heard this other fan kick in before..

any ideas?

thanks

Ed

Thats the ECU temp sensor, yep if it loses connection it will automatically kick in the auxilery fan.

Connectors can be purchased from MJP or any motorfactors (they are a fairly common design)
