Don't lie on a soft bed your back needs good firm support. Cann't help with the boredom know what's that's like damaged by back so badly 3 days before I got married I nearly ended up in a wheelchair for the rest of my life.

You must remain as still and untwisted as poss if you want to have a brilliant wedding day. All the best

laying on the floor is best, and angle the mirrors so you can watch tv, i also have a very large collection of stimulating videos to keep you amused

argh i hate it. i once woke up in severe agony, had to crawl out of bed and around the house on my knees!! still, drove to work (feck knows why!). went to chiropractor after work said i shouldn't be there and it turned out i'd popped out a rib in my sleep!!!

literally every little movement (neck, head, fingers!!!) hurt. its crazy how everything links up to cause ultimate amounts of pain! all i was doing was sleeping :D

try acupuncture - was a miracle cure for me

my pain was caused my all the muscles knotting up - trigger points

stick a needle in them and they just seem to disolve away.

Regards,

we've a family friend who does that, think i willl def give it a whirl

seems a bit hocus pokus but works for a lot of people

Position a TV, DVD, hifi, kettle, mini-fridge, books and wireless laptop within reach of bed, then just get settled! :)

I survived for 2 weeks that way. Only thing missing was a supply of pot-noodles.

accupuncture is fantastic!! my mum does it for bad backs and it really does work!

;) ah yes, the old 'bad back, can't work' one. Nudge, nudge ;)

Seriously, Diclofenac / Voltarol was the way forward when mine was bad.
