i'm 99% sure i was followed this morning.

Left the house @ 7.40am got into the car and noticed a black Ford KA with two Thai kinda guys in it with longish hair in the area.

where my house is its like a one way, and you have to do a U - turn.. (duh) - so i hoped in, turned around, and drove off... looked in the rearview mirror and they were there.. right behind me...

crossed over a road, turned left a couple of hundred metres away, looked again, and they were there. Drove down winchester road, past the garage, turned right as if going to hospital - they were there... turned right into a Cul-de-sac kind of road, and they were there.... i hoped out, looked straight at them, said 'you alright' and they drove off...

i have their full reg number... and looked it up on the DVLA website --> guess what, its not registered.

Am i being paranoid?

Why pass on the info then, surely you would just be wasting their time and stationery.

i'd say it sounds fishy. they obviously know where you live, so maybe worth investing in a camera? is your car garaged at night? do you have someone hardcore to rinse them if they try and break into the car? :)

Call the cops, make a note of times places and numbers (like reg which you did).

Drive a different way home or go to someone elses house.

I wish I lived down there, I would help out.

Forget the car and think about yourself, I don't want to scare you but it sounds a bit fishy.

Tell the police.

Yeah it's not worth taking the chance hon, report it now. I don't want to have to read a thread entitled "It's gone :(" where you're car's been hijacked or something or something bad has happened to you.

Better safe than sorry

i'll call em @ lunch time!

(25 minutes time)

... drain rats like that need to go down...

i hate hearing the 'made to order' stories...

wannabe to the thief - i want a 300zx pearl colour yeah? - tinted windows - fancy wheels, oh and the brake thingy's must be painted red... oh could you make sure there are 300zx.co.uk stickers in the window too.. ... :headvswal

The police will probably take your details and maybe put your address on the "pass on patrol" list. but what else can they do? They will also ask you to phone them if you see them again? Ig they have had any other reports then they will take a more serious view. But I would get someone to stay with you for a couple of nights or at least stay somewhere else or leave the car at someone elses house for a few days. sorry dear but you are going to have to make a few changes to your schedule for a few days and keep an eye out for these strangers. I can understand why you are feeling paranoid but thats not a bad thing sometimes. Good luck.

Girl be carefull. That was dangerous going into a Cul de sac. Should have picked a large populated area. This happened to my freind she was followed home so instead of parking up she drove straight past he house and back into town straight into the Police station Vistors car park and they speed off. She reported into the police station and was taken seriously. They could see how scared she was also lucky for her a police officer saw the other car speeding out of the carpark.

Keep an eye out if they follow you again do the same thing go straight to the police station. These lads will now know you are on to them. Keep a sharpe eye on your car too

Be safe

Dont ever get out of your vehicle and confront someone (two guys in your case) following you. Are you mad. Anything could have happend to you. If you feel someone is following you drive to a police station not to a cul de sac. If you dont want to drive to a police station call a male friend and have them meet you somewhere. Be careful. Stay alert.

thanks for the advice folks..

i'll definatly keep an eye out...

hey is there anywhere u can by a crowbar? crowbars R us or something....

I'm in full mode for smashing some face!

some good advice above ^^

do you have a hard ******* hubby or anything?

may be wise if ya can to get some sort of deterent, can of mace maybe or something like that.... to be honest i cant see these guys being after your car, why would they folow you?? unless it was to see where the car was left all day of course...

hope it all goes well for ya,... have some numbers of some friends handy, if they folow u lead em down a cul de sac and have ur mates block em in, the rest is upto u...

erm.. hubby's gentle  but i do have some mates who could do some damage and bury them under the decking if i needed some 'job' being done.

its funny tho, coz while its happening (being followed etc) you dont think of what you should do - coz u kinda panic... only afterwards your like damn, i should of ..........

thanks tho for all the advice {{group hug}}

Go with your gut instinct and take no chances.... Inform PC Plod then at least they are aware of it.. Can't be too safe this day and age as there is too many idiots out there..........

if you are followed it is best to drive to a 24hr petrol station, they have loads of cameras which can be used to identify drivers.

If you drive to a police station it may not be open, i know the one in my town is only part time, usually shut and does not have a car park....

If they have an idea where you might live I'd rip out a few relays when you leave the car in the evening. Will be a lot harder to steal if theres a few bits missing.

very suspicious indeed, if the car is not registered i can not see that the police can really track them down any way. make sure you have a phone on you and if this happens again, ring the police whilst your driving and report it so they can get some one out

if it happens again

best thing you can do is call the police while they are following you, and arrange to meet the police somewhere

no doubt they will direct you to the nearest station or patrol car

and then fine her for using her phone whilst driving probably, get some coin whilst their at it!! bloody coppers and revenue

If your ever think your being followed just go round the next roundabout a couple of times. They'll either have to follow you or turn off, that way you will know for sure

good idea

Don't go getting a crow bar and arming yourself. Chances are if they're criminals they're harder than you and it's not worth the aggro.

Something not dissimilar happened to me years ago. The police caught them and one of them got 16 years!

I'd speak to the police.

i have to admit ive been paranoid about someone following me while in the Z before. like Glenn says, if youre coming up to a roundabout just keep going round to make it clear youre onto them but also to work out if they are indeed following you.

deffo take the guys' advice and contact the police.

my attempt at some consolation would be: if i was after your car i wouldnt hang around at 7am on a bright morning where i could be spotted and identified. what they were doing i dont know. just take extra care but dont over-worry yourself. good luck.
