Got back form JAE at about 4pm today after a great first experience of the event. First of all I have to say that it was great to meet Chunk on the Sat night (hammered tho I was) and Craig David from the internet (again, you may have been as gone as me but I'm not sure, I remember we had a great big long conversation about loads of random things though) before I went back to my tent and drank with some random girl until girl until 4am :duffer: .... (no other details of that available)... up at 8am with the twatty heat burning through my tent like a fireball. :(
Then I met Bee Gee Vinz today, and saw the Blingest Bling that ever Blinged on a Blingy thing. Bling. Haven't watched the DVD yet Vinz, but looking forward to it... And saw many more awesome Zeds!
So that's the drunken thanks (went straight out to a charity do when I got back, and ploughed money into the bar to save some lives) and now... were there any casualties from JAE 2006....?
To start the ball rolling, on my way down I was in a rush, and was doing 90-100mph, and then thought I saw a cheeky bugger in a Mondeo trying to race me.... needless to say, I blew him away! unfortunately, it turned out that he he was an unmarked police car, and pulled me over to give me a £60 fine and 3 points - thanks. Lucky in a way, as he clocked me at 107mph after that, but I was only trying to overtake some cars so I could get out of his way!!!
That's my casualty, but I know that Tony2000 who lives right near me blew his gearbox on the way down, he now has 2nd and 3rd only - and no reverse. I hope you got back OK Tony!!!!
Any more casualties or stories from the big event?
I thought it was awesome, and I can't wait for next year now!
Lots of love,
Christian, AKA Flardboy, yes, that's Flardboy. I can explain it if you like, but it's a slightly odd story.
