Hi everyone!

 

I can't get tomorrow off, which is a bit cack, but I've decided that I'm still going to zoom down from Colchester after work and make it for a bit of food (I hope) and plenty of drinking! Believe it or not, it'll be my first ever car show, and I'm looking forward to it, especially seeing all your lovely Zeds!

 

I've been told there should still be plenty of space on the 300ZX stand, so that's where I'll be headed. Is that also where we set up tents etc?

 

And I don't want to sound like a wuss, but I'll be on my own and wont know anyone there, I guess the 300ZX crew will all be together? I'm sure everyone will be very friendly, but I reckon I'll bring along a bottle of Champagne to celebrate my first show, and help make a few friends.... :duffer:

 

I take it everyone is taking lots of booze with them?

I've done Colchester - Peterborough in about an hour but that was shifting!

 

I won't be there until Saturday afternoon.

 

As for 'mingling' it can SEEM like everyone knows everyone else and it's a bit intimidating. This is not the case - pretty much everyone's in the same boat so just get stuck in and chat to people - hopefully these new badges we all have will help.

 

I'm taking a load of cans with me.

 

Not sure where we camp - either near our cars or in the camping area which is very nearby.

That's great, cheers for the info mate! Should be leaving at about 6pm, hope to get there by 7:30.

 

What's this about name badges tho? I haven't got one....

 

And I'll be taking a cool bag in the back with a few bottles of wine and that bottle of Champagne, I generally stick to slightly feminine drinks, but lots and lots of 'em :)
