Yep sounds like the turbo water feed pipe. I think you can change it from under the car but could be wrong.

If not it's an engine out job!

The only other water lines around there are the 2 large heater pipes to the bulkhead at back/top/middle of the engine.

thanks for reply. i shall now try and find somewhere to replace it, if it is the pipe which it more then likely is.

thanks

theres three rubber hoses that connect to the n/s turbo.one runs down the rear of the n/s bank.the others feeds off the plenum at the front below the n/s throttle body and connects further back via a right angled pipe.they can be changed in situ but what a job they are.!!!!!.pray its not the one at the rear of the engine.

If it is one of the plenum pipes leaking , just bypass them , it,s not needed over here.

If you look at the metal matrix supply pipes at the rear of the engine , each one has a little tube coming off it , there about 6mm bore IIRc

One water supply to each turbo off those is all thats needed but you,ll have to remove the hard pipes off the tubs to gain access, it,s quite an easy job

You don,t have to remove the plenum as it shows here :headvswal HTH

I just spoke with the garage and they have finished my car. Clutch is in, starter motor, gearbox, dill and engine oil changed, all engine and gearbox seals.

I also asked them to find my water leak. They have looked and they said its defo air con water not coolant. They said its running down the inside of the chassis and its possible the drain pipe is split or stuck somewhere. I dont getting it tho and its really annoying me. My cooling system is loosing water and gaining air! The water that comes out had blue coolant in it (they said they tasted it and was just water). The water that comes out is really cold even when the coolant temp is hot. Still loosing water tho and no white smoke!

Grrrr!

My leak wouldn,t show up when it was running , after turning the engine off the heat in the engine would raise the water temp just enough and raise the pressure to the point were the leak would start showing itself :headvswal

It would drip onto the n/s turbo and mostly evaporate so there wasn,t alot on the ground , it took some tracking down and was found to be one of the rubber pipes on the plenum cooling system and as i posted , i just bypassed the plenum .

Jobs a goodunn
