Hi, has anyone got a good DVD burning program for making 'Backups' of their dvd's? I am currently using X COPY DVD and it works fine on my laptop but tried to install it on my dads pc and it wouldn't work so i'm looking for an alternative.

there are loads of packages that will not copy the copy-protected dvds but not many that will!!! :smash:

u need dvd decrypter and dvd shrink bud

Yep! DVD shrink you can get it free if you "google" it mate. and then Nero.

you also need dvd decrypter to remove the copy protect stuff

as mentioned above, I find Nero is pretty good.

why do you need a decrypter and a shrink? x copy dvd is an all in one package that works just like a normal cd/dvd copier but it allows you to burn copy protected dvds, is there another program that anyone knows like x copy dvd thats all in one?

its also worth buying it as it regularly sends updates for "new" stuff

i use slysoft to decrypt & CloneDVD to burn - never fails :)
