I parked my Merc in Thornton Thief yesterday for about an hour while attending a confirmation. I then drove the car to give it a drink at the shell station and while filling it up I noticed that the wheel dust caps I bought from Speadfreak with the Merc symbol on them had been liberated. I looked on the other side of the car and those were still there. The bad part is the car was dirty and how the hell they could tell they were worth taking is beyond me. Its things like this that just make you want to B!tch Slap someone.

if you have one side not the other, id be more inclined to think they come off mate not stolen?

Went out to mine yesterday and mine have been nicked front and rear on one side

they are probably on some moped or bike by now! you need a 13m spanner to get my Z dust caps off! The kids are starting to get wise to this and carry spanners now tho!

Get a specially made rim wth the air valve on the inside. Then weld the outside dummy valves on. That might not be very practical but it will deffo confuse the little beggers.

super glue pieces off a an old razor blade head ...........(.the triple blades come out really easy ...........) to the inside out of sight edge of the dust cap ..you know its there so it wont bite you but the theiving little pricks with a bit of luck might end up with tetanus :))))

mate with a 12mm spanner you can nip the caps up, so you cant take em by hand. i can do ya some replacements if you like.. pm me
