Anyyone ever used a dremel with the polishing cottony thing attachment on their paintwork to remove scratches?

Im gonna give it a go later - *REALLY* carefully as Ive been told by several bodyshops some of my fine scratches should buff out.

Not sure whether to use a compound or whether it will work but may give it a go myself. I tried one of them big electric buffers (cheap) and it did bugger all.

use A good quality polishing wheel Jay the cheaper ones disintigrate I tried it. I have some stuff that removes scratches like magic its a 2 stage kit.....scratch removal

I tried this stuff and it works without the dremel and you get everything you need in the box.

Careful with the dremel Bud. It is far too fast to use with the cotton polishing wheel. Very easy to burn the paint work!

Burnt :(

Glad I only tried it on a small piece.

May try it at 2K rpm as opposed to 35K
