Much the same old sort of thing but with the new special effects the film is very good. well worth a watch if you like the comic book movies. I dont think we have seen the last of him.

Ridiculously excited about this! From what I've read they seem to have done a really good job with this installment (sitting in between the end of 1 and 2). It's perhaps not quite as dark as was originally intended (Tim Burton was originally mooted as directing with Nic Cage in the starring role!) but new comer Routh definately looks the part (and has apparently been given the thumbs up by Christopher Reeves' family...RIP chap)

im lookin well forward to seeing this!! the first christopher reeves superman was the first film i ever saw at the cinema so im gonna take my 4 year old son to see his first film at the pictures.

me and my dad wher fairly big super hero comic fans when i was younger especialy DC.

bout time they made a GREEN LANTERN film IMO.....

It is a very good movie. The violence is a bit heavier but thats a natural acceptance (keeping up with the times) but It doesnt sit in between 1 and 2. It is further on after the last one superman 4. so i spose it should be called 5? It is a decent tribute to the man and the actor looks very similar. I wont say any more but its worth the wait. Unless you cant wait then you had better PM me. ;)

Apologies for misinformation, it IS mean't to sit in the existing films, but between 2 and 3...just after General Zod but before Richard Pryor! Lol! :D Sorry Vini! ;)

No probs mate. Its a good copy but slightly dark I am fussy and its the limit I would watch but its very watchable (VCD quality (maybe)). But you will be supprised to find that it sits right on the end as number 5. I wont tell you how I am sure because it may spoil a bit of the plot but be assured it cant fit in unless like the batman movies they have fooked up and I havent quite followed it properly??????

I have the complete series of Smallville to watch yet. I am looking forward to that. All 5 seasons on DVD. thats going to take some time. I am not sure how good it is but I am sure it will be OK if not better than just OK.

V jealous! :D Watched almost all of Season 1 and 2, most of 3 but missed out on the rest :( Was very watchable (if a little silly in places...but hey, that's part of the charm! ;))

yeah I heard that. Follows on from 1 and 2 and disregards 3 and 4 cus they're not so good. Although I do like superman 3 myself.
