Season finale tonight! Missed the first part "Army of Ghosts" being in Russia at the time so now trying to download it in time to watch it before tonight....but it's soooooo slow...arrrrgh. :(

 

Still prefer Christopher Eccleston out of the two new Doctor's (and Tom Baker out of the lot of them naturally :D) but have to admit that David Tennant has been really good in the role.

 

Now all they need to do is make a really dark, gritty Doctor Who film a la Batman Begins...we live in hope! :rofl: ;)

I think the BBC have done a damm good job re-inventing the Doctor.

I also didn't see last weeks part 1, but sat here with my kids watching tonights, the special effects are really quite good now(OK, not exactly Hollywood, but who cares?) And the story line was much better than in the old days.

It was quiet moving at the end tonight I thought... Really good though, got well into these Doctor Who's... I do like David Tennant but prefer Chris Eccelston... Shame he couldn't sware in it though with his usuall "Cheeky B/\stards!!" line!!

I heard yesterday that this time they are keeping the same doctor but Billy is leaving? OMG I think she is the apple of the doctors eye and will be a fookin hard act to follow. :mad:

saw it last night, my mate said at the end he saw a tardis (spelling) in the background. when the Doctor was talking to bride, so that would make 2, i DID NOT see it. did i miss it? or has my mate lost it??

I have to agree with all of the above, but the Doctor Who Exibition Centre is closed at the moment while new bigger building is under construction.

I just watched it. awsome. Catherine Tate? I thought she was going to say "fookin chill out" LOL.

 

There is a Dr Who exibition/museum at Blackpool but I have no idea if its any good.

Gutted that Billie left! Was a really good ending (though sad :( )...I know the Doctor was created as a character that is constantly on the move with companions/assistants that are never permanent but it would've been kinda cool to see him actually in a relationship, something that has never really been explored fully in the series! Mind you, I can't really see him putting up shelves and building an extension on the TARDIS! :wack: :D

Catherine Tate is only in it for the Christmas Special.

Trip was good ta, team did well (she came 6th, not as great as expected but still pretty good out of 100 odd from the best in the world), earned my money doing the model photoshoot (a tough job but someone had to do it :D) and thankfully the flight wasn't delayed and they let me out of the country! Which was nice. :D

i hope they do a story where the Tennant Doctor meets the Eccleston Doctor. i used to love the old ones where, say, Peter Davison would bump into Patrick Troughton.

i dont really rate the new series as good as the oldies - too touchie feelie. ... and Colin Baker is the best :hyper: although, yes, Tom Baker is THE Doctor Who.

Blast, you mean they didn't even invite you to the back room for for a few probing questions with the special inspector, ;) ;) before ascorting you onto your plane with strict instructions never to return on pain of death.
