I have several music DVD's that I would like to extract the music from and create a standard audio CD.

Can anyone out there help or advise on how to do this???

Will I need any 3rd party application software at all???

I am pretty sure you can do that on Windows Media.

When you say music dvd's. do you mean videos? or MP3 files? If its from video then you will need to source it externally or use a video adaptor and record it "live". if its MP3's then any decent audio grabber will do. What sound card do you have.

They are music DVD's with video ie concerts etc. I would like to be able to make an audio CD of them to play in the car and also to convert then to MP3 (which I can do in Windows Media Player) - just need them in WAV format first

Try this link matey. It looks like the sort of thing you need but it might be a bit of a long process and it is limited for the free version. I have some software on disc so if you cant find anything let me know and I will send you a copy.
