Hi guys. As the topic says i'm thinking of buying a 300zx TT. It's a while off yet as my insurance runs out in April, and they wont swap it over :( I was just wondering what to look out for as i don't want to spend that much and get a bad one. General info would be nice as i'm new to the supercar scene. I own a little 106 rallye ATM so it will be a big leap up :) TIA.

Rob.

heres your first most important tip. walk into ure bank and into the managers office at this point drop your pants and bend over the desk and wait while the manager proceeds to roger you very hard with a pinapple thereby allowing you into the 300 club membership lol. only kidding m8 shop very very very carefully as buying even the most basic bits for one of these beasties is about 500 percent dearer than your 106 should you get a poorly one and you will never enjoy what can be an automotive wet dream

you know what tooley, i really worry about you sometimes.. do you need a counsellor ? :)

seriously though Rob, tooley is right.

make sure you give the car thorough going over before you get it.

if you get a good one, it will be nothing but fun, but get a bad one and you will think you have been cursed.

there quite a few things to look out for, and well looked after turbos are quite high on that list. there are ways to check this out, and i will dig out some previous posts about this and post them, or you can check down the forum a bit.

i'm sure plenty of people will post information as well, so you will be well armed when you go looking.
