I read this article, and yes the lad was refused tickets because he was not Muslim.............wonder what would happen if if was the other way around.........people would be shouting racism on a grand scale

Ok...ive read the artical and i dont agree with it...SINCE I AM A MUSLIM...

What they should have done is made it a muslim day to show what Islam is about and opened to ALL FAITHS. "Muslims only day" sounds racist and discriminative...what is should say "muslims day" "where all faiths are welcome". I do have friends of all faiths and ones that are athiests, this will only fuel anger...its bad enough having these s/bombers making the rest of the muslim world look very bad indeed. I have experienced this first had when the twin towers came down, when we were attacked for being a muslim. Our own neighbours stood and watched and did nothing to help. Its amagzing how easily people can be led from the actions of afew....

 

 

i think i will write in and complain to the organisers...

i work in a multi-racial and multi-cultural environment and am NOT racist, all i want to see is a FAIR system where everyones religious beliefs are respected, and ALL treated equally when it comes to racial discrimination and attack...

 

i am an athiest yet have friends who are both jehovas witness and mormon, and have no problem at all with ANY religion...

 

i WOULD go to a day run to abide by muslim beliefs no worries at all, so long as a day run to say strict christian or catholic beliefs was EQUALLY as accepted..

 

i wonder wether this day will go ahead or not in the end....

Islaam is a faith. You or I can choose to join it and we could then go on their day to alton towers. It's like a church picnic - if you go to the church you can go on their picnic. Or the 300ZX parking area at JAE - you can park there if you're a member of our club. Race is not an issue, being a member of an organisation is.

I think people are quick to blame muslims for many problems / terrorism that go on these days. These problems may have been caused by people who are muslim. But not all muslims are responsible.

 

If we're quick to blame all muslims for these problems we just increases division and alienate decent people.

So how would you prove that you was a muslim then? Do you get a membership card? No if you turned up without an aisian companion then you would not get in. I think all religions should be banned from the face of the earth then we could really see what the problem is. No excuse to kill or mame no excuse to argue or fight. Religion is for hypocrits and control freaks. The sooner this fact is realized the better if you ask me. I dont dislike anyone because of what they are I dislike people because of what they do.

There is only one thing to do. We must ban the expression of ALL religous practices in public in order to be on an equal footing with our fellow man. My thinking is that "you can do anything you want in private just keep it to yourself"

 

It is religion that has caused most (if not all) of the wars in the world.

Please - try and think of a war not started by religion...

 

I've got no problem with Islam, I think it is a better religion than Christianity.

You can't really ban signs of religion. Many people in the UK aren't religious but we need to accept the views and rights of those who are.

 

I think religion is demonised unfairly. A handful of people use it for their own ends or get the wrong end of the stick and that causes the problems we've all seen. But it guides thousands of others through life with good morals and gives comfort and purpose.

 

There are plenty of wars not started by religion even though they may have a religious component.

 

 

In my opinion the way forward is for everyone to try and be tolerant and accepting of each other. We should try and lead by example. Integrate with smiles on our faces. I can't see anything else working to be honest. Division, anger and hatred aren't going to smooth things out.

 

If someone attacks us, we should be nice to them. Fighting back won't help. An eye for an eye and pretty soon we're all blind.
