master cylinder question

hi all

just stripped the master cylinder of my zed and am about to put my new one on.

 

BUT do i need to put any sealant/instant gasket between the cylinder and the booster thingy???

    Not really needed but I would put a thin paper gasket on there,more to stop crap getting in than leaks coming out! :)
