yeah a piece of piss mate, hardest part was running the wiring through the bulkhead , i used the main loom hole, make sure you get a good earth for the gauges though as the first time i didnt and they didnt read right.

my plan is to do a total new centre console and ditch the standard vents and go for the audi tt type ones which are round and then go for a 7 inch touchscreen ready for a carputer

whats the switch next to the clock thats not standard is it. what did you earth the clocks to, also the water temp sensor what did you put on it to seal it in the pipe

In all honesty mate i aint got a clue about the switch..lol, gonna have to find out soon but it doesnt seem to do anything when i use it, when i first fitted the gauges i used the earth for the stereo for all 3 and that didnt work well, then ran a earth lead to a hole in the body just behind the centre console and ran the gauges off this which makes em a lot more steady, as for the temp sender i used a proper adaptor pipe for it as it needs to be earthed as well

Plan on the round vents like this from the tt in the middle, will probably cover the centre console in black leather or vinyl to make the silver stand out, worth a try

mm, must admit I've been thinking about that too,, i was gonna use the zcentre pod that goes over the dash and use the largest gauge pod opening and put a vent in there and then use gauges in the rest, or just make a new one completely, not sure what material to use though..richard

im gonna start off with the centre console as is and remake parts with fibreglass to suit, used to work in a GRP bay as a aircraft engineer so shouldnt be too much of a problem to get it right.

That's the parking aid switch to activate a nice little aerial on the front bumper so you know where the front is. Prob doesnt work or the aerial isnt there... strip it all out and get rid of the thing! Ooh, nice dash.
