Cool cool, just had a closer look and there is less flash than I thought.

What browsers problems did you have? Browser rendering differences are a pain in the ARSE. Been fighting a few recently myself!

just the locator headers for the site sometimes if theres a drop off in the code then it may not display properly , i have also noticed that sometimes the flash pluing doesnt kick in with opera and firefox, it may be due to some of the code not being stable aat the moment, but its not that page thats the problem its the corporate site with the secure login section. the string that opens the access prompt to gain entry to the main site keeps falling, and the auto lockout procedure kicks in on the first try not the 5th.

but i will get my head round it, if that fails.. i will pay someone to fix my fook up!! lol

But i dont know the difference....since PERL is what i really had in mind but i do like to learn PHP too....

Ok at the moment its just a hobby but i want to major into it professionally..

PERL won't talk to databases whereas php will

nothing much more to get onto jack, I wasn't being sarcastic :)

obviously using flash you are limited with the amount of SEO you can achieve but it seems you've got it mostly covered.

my previous comment was just because your

made me chuckle. it was lengthy! :D<p> </p> <p> remember guys, if you know anyone (preferably female, mid twenties, blonde  ) who wants a 22 year old web designer for work in brighton/sussex, let me know!</p>

PERL is old and outdated. unfortunately i still have to do a bit here and there.

PHP all the way!

If thats the case with Perl then ive been wasting my brain cells....some say its powerful language some say its crap..... :headvswal

i need to get out more.....

sorry but that's just wrong mate! :)

OK who's tell the truth...come on now!!!

Writing cgi/Perl scripts in my opinion and many others has always been a powerful language say many web developers ive come across.....

I think many PHP heads would argue that it is quicker but from experience I would say it is pretty marginal.

I would also say PHP is easier to learn from someone who is completely new to programming, the syntax is more self-explanatory imo.

However, Perl doesn't have a recursive name!
