How bloody difficult is to get someone to do their fooking job these days???????

I, finally, received a letter from Network Rail on 23rd May saying that I'd got the job here in Grantham (which I knew anyway) But I had to go for a medical, pass a Drugs and Alcohol test and obtain two references all before they'd give me a start date! Well I'm still waiting for a fooking start date :headvswal

I passed the medical, should be no problem at all with the D&A test (but they are still waiting for the results) and only one of my two references have bothered to reply!! :headvswal At least it's the most important one (last employer) She said that she'll chase the D&A test results up today, and they can still give me a start date without the second reference, but must have the D&A results first!

So I'm still out of work, five months after being made redundant, and my money is rapidly running out, but then I do keep spending it on the Zed :rofl:

 

I'm not going to know whats hit me when I do get back to work ;)
