Does anyone near Ipswich own a welder that would be willing to weld the guages and taps back onto my air compressors tank? will bring it to you and pay you cash for your time. Any help gratefully received.

Got a mate who has a small bodyshop business in Colchester he may be able to help if your willing to travel to Colchester ?

I dont mind driving upto Colchester with it if he thinks he can do it, basically the threaded part that hold the guages and air taps on has snapped, I have bought a big nut that needs to be welded onto the tank and then the new guages can be screwed into it, not sure if that description works or not but I know what I mean, he can take a look and I can leave it with him if he thinks he can do it, cheers Tony

Call HF Bond in Martlesham Heath - they're metal fabricators by trade, and welding wizards (Aluminium / steel / SS etc)!

I would do it FOC for you M8 as I am a pipe fitter welder by trade but I dont have have the kit anymore as I am just a thiko plumber now......hope you get it sorted.
