Thankfully, not because it's going t1t's up, quite the opposite luckily :D

Decided to tweak the design a little the other day and while doing so I thought I'd augment the fibreglass with metal a) to give me a better idea of the lines, contours and general shape of the design, b) it gives me a good point of reference for the remaining fibreglass surface, i.e. the metal is curved and shaped exactly how I want it so all I have to do is bring the filler up to match it.

 

The majority of the surface area between the main air dam and the sides (between the openings and the metal plates each side) is going to be removed for the fogs (about a 5-6" hole with a recessed edge so the plexi-glass covering can be bolted onto it and remain flush to the rest of the bumper.)

 

I need a stock bumper sooner than expected as the project is (touch wood) going well and I will be grafting a copy taken from the plug onto it so I can retain all the original mounts (the one it's on now is very knackered and has several mounting points missing). Once that's done, it's tidied up and taken down to the moulders for the final item(s) to be made.

 

Glad it's coming along nicely. I'd still like to see the finnish product. :D
