replaced the little round grommet that slides up and down the channel in the door for the windows, mine had a bit of rattle, followed the pdf on how to do it but as the cap was still on i had to use some lock grips on the old pin to undo it.

the new one was easy to put on with long reach neele pliers , screwed it on and the cap went on even easier with a piece of flat with double sided tape on and clik in it went, re-greased everything after i cleaned it all out and its like new!... and erm no.. i didnt take pics.. doh! :headvswal

Can I ask where you got the bits from and what PDF did you use?

Thanks

Vijay

bits from mike feeny ask for the door window pin and also make sure you ask for the cap to go on top of it

pdf here: http://aus300zx.com/tech/Rattling-Window.pdf

it wasactually easier to do than that pdf shows, remember though when you come to take the plastic cover thats on the outer part of the door, you will see 4 round clips in the plastic push the centre pin down till it clicfks then the clip will just lift out.

there is also one inside the door.. forgot to mention that one, also the plastic clips that hold the glass in on the runners on the lifting mechanism and have bolts through they also degrade and snap make sure they are ok. i will take pics in morning of all you need to check.

yep need to get this done too, windows rattle like hell very annoying its all the way up or fully open, anything inbetween drives you crazy :(
