looking nice man!!

Is the wide arches metal, glass or plastic? I have been looking at getting a wid body but don't want one if it is glass because it will be my daily driver. How do you attach the arches on?

Thanks

  • Author

they are fibre glass, mine is my daily driver (and it gets driven hard) you attach the arches with fibrol (some kind of glass fibre paste)

Just seen the pics from August 17 - Looking great mate!

its getting there, still lots to do :smash:

thanks for that. Does the fibrol hold them on firmly? Did you cut the guards and flare them out so that you can screw the bottom parts in or??

Is your kit a genuine strosek kit? I read somewhere that the strosek one is metal but I always thought it was glass.

It is going to look damn nice when it's done~!

Strosek arches were originally intended to be metal, but when it went into production they went with fibreglass.

The strosek kit and arches has been copied numerous times and I believe Stella got his from 300zxstyling.co.uk

I like it, looks well, my folks live in Sunderland so I might see it around sometime. I think my car would look good with a wide arch kit with the rainbow paint.
