Ok, as it says in my sig, my Z got written off a couple of months ago. I've just come into some money and I'm loking at getting a new Z. Thing is, I want to get another car to use a daily driver and I'm thinking of getting something small and jap that's also fairly quick and cheap(ish). So far I've come up with Toyota Starlet Gt turbo and the Daihatsu Charade Gtti.

Can anyone think of any other cars similar to these?

Thanks in advance

I had a Nissan Almera GTI. Just sold it to get my 300zx TT.

You'll pick one up for under £2000 for a 1998/1999 reg and they're about 150 bhp, 0-60 in under 8 secs. Very reliable cars too! Same engine as the Pulsar but without the turbos!

I had mine for 2 years and had no problems with it what so ever!

Petrol is a noticeble difference tho. In my Almera I would do about £25 of petrol a week. This week I have done £70 in my Z. Ouch!

in fact yeah, get a 200, i had one before my zed, awesome bit of kit, can pick them up very cheap on the 200 owners club, very easy to work on as well, loads of space under the hood and pretty fast

mr2 turbo cheap quick and relable still rwd t top and turbod! more room than you think aswell

Nissan Primera 2.0 GTe or SRi. Lovely little fast car. good on fuel cheapish ins' and you can get some nice add ons for them.

I have a Vovlo estate as my daily drive. But am thinking about a SUV.
