Being wheelchair bound most travelling is in our wheelchair accessible people carrier, but since getting my Z my 14 year old daughter has been really enjoying going in it, as she’s 5’3” and 8.5stone it requires a lot of man handling rather than her just driving into the people carrier, but its well worth it.
Today was great as it was her first time with the roof off, so a three hour trip around the countryside and to the seaside at Hastings.
Oddly the Z make for a decent car to get a disabled person into, despite being low, the doors have a massive opening and when the targa’s are off its even easier as you’re not bashing their head on the roof, then once in the supportive seat stops her flopping around.
If she gets much bigger at least I’ll be able to hoist her in and out via the open roof!
