Oil change

Right fellas I have decided that my baby needs am oil change, problem is...can I find an oil filter for it??

Can I buggery, Will one from another nissan fit or will I have to get stung at the dealers?

Also what is the best grade of oil to use?

Its an 89 TT auto btw.

    From main dealer part number A5208H8904 oil filter £5.30 plus VAT amd part number 1102601M02 sump washer £1.02 plus VAT,or you can use a champion C109 from halfords.

    Personally I would only use main dealer filters.

    Oil changes are so important. You want to get them done quite often. Just had mine done and it makes so much difference to the engine. The advice I was given was to change the oil every 3-4 thousand miles or when it starts to discolour.

    i got 1 from the dealers for 4.50 inc vat and i'd use 10/60 castrol formula rs we use it in the aston martin V8's where i work top quality stuff.
