NZR - Well, I Did It!!!

Evening all, well as title suggests, it's been a very successful evening, with NO set-backs!

I posted the other day that I wanted to change my PC processor, and could I just copy all my programs to another hard drive and then copy them back? (Thread Here)

Well thanks for all the responses, I've done it tonight! :D I'm now running a P4 3.0 Ghz (actually running at 3.2 at the moment (overclocked)) instead of my old Celeron 2.6, which to be quite honest was perfectly OK, until it came to any DVD/Movie work and then it was pants!!

As it turned out I wouldn't of needed to transfer any progs, docs etc over, as the old hard drive worked as soon as I pressed the power button (which I wasn't expecting) In fact all I had to do was contact Microsoft (FREE phone call) for an activation code, and then everything was fine.

So I'm quite chuffed with myself now :D
