Just thought id let you peeps know of my find....

Past few months ive been trying to find a product that will actually clean my alloys (originals) tryed a few of them with one of those wire brushes (yes the safe for alloys one!)

and nothing..couldn't remove the darn muck for love 'no money..

anyway - and dont ask my why i did this but i decided to try an interior wipe, you know the turtle wax/armour all interior wipes on the said wheels - and low and behold it works perfectly - they have come up like new!!! Honestly! takes a bit of elbow grease and you use quite a few wipes as they're not that big, but it works!!!

just thought id post my good news!!! :hyper:

I've always used "Wonder wheels", that you brush on. Powerfull stuff.

You know - thats the one product i've never used! perhaps i should!

If buying "Wonder Wheels" make sure you buy the correct type to match the type of alloys you've got. They are very specific about some of their products not being suitable for split rim alloys.

Further, this product is highly acidic and "could" cause damage to the wheel if the lacquer is cracked - so us it with caution.

I will be reselling Meguiare products very soon and will be carrying their full product line (shampoo, polish, wax, clay, paint restorer, microfibre, etc, etc). They also have an alloy wheel cleaner which is pH neutral and comes highly recommended. Will post up details in the DTA section once all the legal bits have been sorted.
