Hi Guys

I saw a demo of this "spray on" chemical and didn't know what to make of it. The product was sprayed onto half a number plate. A photo was taken by a digital compact camera with flash. The result was that the half of the plate sprayed, was unreadable owing to dazzle caused by the reflective properties of the chemical. The other half was readable.

Has anyone had any experience of this stuff?

If it does actually work, would your rear number plate light up like a Christmas tree at night by a following car's headlamps and thus arouse suspision?

Cheers

Jon

Nice one LOL one less speed camera

oh there's a few i'd love to get rid of round our way :D

We're pretty lucky in Surrey but I live right on the Surrey/Hampshire/Birkshire boundries and Hampshire is a complete and utter nightmare. Surrey just full of speed bumps awfull things and with stiffen and lowered suspension it's even worse.

sounds like measham, where i live. i swear they put the bumps in to make people stay longer.

You know they bombed it continuosly throughout world war 2 and they did 5 quid's worth of damage

Surprized you even knew it, I don't.

You're a mind of useless information arn't you?

Thinking of going on one of the quizz programmes are you? How about Mastermind, Eggheads or even Miss Whiplash herself 'The weakest link.'

We'll all be sitting on the sidelines rooting for you. Come on the Bunny, The Bunny rule's and other such slogans of the same vein.

:hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

lmao. i'd be awful on a quiz show. i'm usless in quizzes

We'll just have to send you a test one with multichoice questions, Have a couple on disk. For some reason I always get landed with setting 2 or 3 a year for this or that fun raiser. Most of the time I havn't a clue as how they get my email address.

It's not illegal to own one yet but it is illegal to operate one so I'm told.

I believe the old speed trap detectors are illegal, the ones that detect by radar which never worked! I had one and they were rubbish! They were around a couple of years ago.

However, the new GPS ones are perfectly legal and are brilliant! :x:

nope, both are legal, and both (laser detection and gps) are used in high spec modern detectors.

The goverment has been trying to ban laser detection, leaving only GPS legal but they have'nt managed it yet.

Hi, I bought a can of "SAFE PLATE" anti flash protection around 15 years ago and never had a speeding fine

all the time I had that car(around eight years. Had plenty since though. Can't find it in the U.K. now. If any

one knows where I can buy it a name, address and telephone number would be most welcome. I don't mind any country!

Thanks. Peter W.
