Been monitoring what's been said between Paul Stevens and Ryan tonight and to be honest I think that Matty has a point!!!

Let's say that someone goes to a garage and they're not happy with the way they've been treated, they post that on here and that is surely for the good of the rest of the membership.

My point is that if these posts/threads didn't appear then maybe more innocent members would goto that garage and have a similar experience and would be equally disgruntled!

I did this way back when the forum was in its infancy and I had the same kind of response. NOOOO you can't slag off the only official Skyline main dealer of the UK. But my point is that if you're not happy in an individual case then why does it have to be taboo that it cannot be aired on here?

AUP? Man that is so lame!

AUP was dreamed up and written to quash this sort of approach from members who want to make it known to other paid up members that they have had a bad experience with a garage or trader etc.

Personally I don't think this sort of thing should be kept behind closed doors! I seem to recall recently or over the past few months threads that are titled "Name and Shame!" so yes we are happy to disclose phantom traders who don't honour their agreements or people who are trading parts in the For Sale and Wanted section...but when it comes down to someone not being happy with a garage then that is not an appropriate subject to be discussed on here?

What a joke!!!

You do seem to have alot to say!!

Once again i'll say, I respectfully asked the membership to drop the matter between Paul and Ryan, but you had to drag it up, why? Is it a game to you?

Mac has posted many times before that he would prefer no more 'mud slinging', whether that be from any trader, or the membership.

But you, as long a member as you may be, seem to want to keep reverting back to how the club was in its infancy, how this was done, how that was done, sorry mate, times change.

AUP, being lame?? Sorry, if you dont like it, you know where the door is. The AUP applies to all, even you.

A joke??!!

Sorry mate, its no joke, simple as that.

Fair enough mate, but maybe you should read and take stock of what some of the above posts say?

Not going on about or banging on about what is going on with Ryan and Paul but if you read the posts on this thread they reflect the opinions of what the members think about their opinions about posting their experiences with garages!

I'm not trying to sh1t stir here, merely trying to make a point.

The above posted have been read by a number of the committee and mods, and the position has been discussed, and I have been in contact with Paul, and I will post again after I have spoken to both parties regarding this issue, when Im aware of all the facts.

Your point has been noted.

The only question I have is why has this been going on for 9 months, yet the first I hear about it is when it gets plastered all over the forum??

Maybe because Paul has been trying to act like a gentlemen and keep it off the forum until now? Has that occurred to you yet?

But yes, 9 months is a bit of a p1ss take by any standards so I will be looking forward to reading what Ryan has to say on the matter! ;)

Maybe it should have been brought to the attention of a TLO a dam sight earlier than 9 months!!!, and that would have still kept it off the forum. Thats what we are here for, so no it never occured to me, so dont ever talk down to me!

I look forward to speaking to Ryan, and Paul, as there is obviousley alot more going on than what is being revealed here, hence why so many feel it necessary to jump on it. Which is obviousley disappointing.

...so dont ever talk down to me!

Eh? Are you sure about that?

How tall are you? Top Trumps on 'How tall are you' Pfffftttt!!!

Not my fault is it if you're shorter than me! LOL :D

i wasn't going to post on this but. there are alot of people here willing to guess what might of gone on between the two parties, but not many who have had work done by ryan and said that there happy. i had a rebuild done at Ztec, and yes it had to go back but found ryan and his team 1st class in the efforts to sort the problem out which they did. as one has said people are all too quick to jump on the band wagon.

FFS Timmy, Wind ya fookin neck in.

Your acting like an immature COCK!!!

Yep that's great mate but as I made my point clear to the Club Sec above, this thread is not about that! It's more about what can be posted about garages in general. ;)

As peeps have said above, nobody kicks off about threads blowing sunshine up peoples backsides but when someone posts up their experiences when something has p1ssed them off it all goes political and censorship rears its ugly head. Why?

Well that's your opinion! ;)

P.S. where's my membership pack?

unfortuatlly when someone posts about a bad experiance others start slinging the mud too, dont get me wrong i too want to know about peoples good and bad things with traders, so i can make up my own mind wether to use them or not. i think this political censorship has come about due to one of the parties been unable to reply. both side should be aired

Timmy! Ya like a broken fookin record. How many times today have you posted the same thing.

The club has not said people cannot post about bad experiences from official club traders. The club has said that the trader in question should be given the opportunity to respond to the complaint made by a forum member.

The club secretary has said about half a dozen times that he will be communicating with the trader this week and will feedback to the member.

Why the fook can't you leave it at that.

You are clearly shit stirring IMHO. This has nothing to do with you directly and yet you keep wittering on.

If the member is satisfied to wait for the club secretary to speak to the trader. then why the fook aren't you?

TBH mate, you sound like a typical fookin grandad with comments like "it was much better in the old days".

Steve mate,

Read my original post FFS!

I am saying that this example highlights why we are censored on posting bad experiences with garages not anything to do with Ryan and Paul.

FFS didn't you get any this morning or summat?

P.S. I did!!!

when have we been censored into posting bad experiences with garages/traders ?????

Oh man! I agree bud but as I just posted to Mr. PMT!!! I'm not on about the issues with Paul and Ryan, I'm looking at the broader picture and stating a fact as to why there is so much political censorship and cover up stance about members posting about their experiences with garages!

FFS! Am I typing in fookin' Mandarin Chinese or summat?

when have we been censored into posting bad experiences with garages/traders ?????

LOL :D

Thread Closed! Ring any bells?

FFS!

Why was the thread closed Timmy?

Do you want to phone a friend?

Timmy, enoughs enough. The only reason this thread is likely to be closed is because you are acting like a 14 year old keyboard warrior, give it a rest.

That’s because as TLO I have taken it on board to sort out any problems that traders and members have had and before any one asks EVERY SINGLE complaint I have had with a registed trader was sorted.

Check out my post in every trader section.

This means no more mud slinging to the traders like we have had in the past! Any posts slaggin off traders will be moderated. If you have a problem with a trader always talk to them first so that they can have a chance to sort the problem out.

If that fails then let me know next and I will try and get your problem sorted out between you and the trader. If I get continuous bad reports about any trader in our Traders Forums then they will be asked to leave.

Gone are the days when traders were on here posting in public peoples financial situations when they had a fall out with them. Or posting pictures up of people in hospital with serious facial injuries and quoting this will be your face when I see you next.

Entertaining when you are sat at your PC full of ale but not entertaining when you are the trader in question or the customer that lost out

Timmy stay off the ale and try water for a change :mac1:

amen

Yeah too right!

I'm off to play BF2 now, nice to speak to ya all though!

Steve, take a chill pill FFS and if I don't get my keyring and cacky 300ZX stickers in the next 7 days you'll be on the receiving end too. Cack, you pay 15 pounds of yer hard earned cash to join this place just so that you can post in the private forums (which never get used) and you don't even get your welcome pack until six months...no hang on a minute. NEVER! Later!

MR-2 club sends their stuff out straight away! LOL :D

Lesson to be learned there methinks! ;)

LOL :D

Thread Closed! Ring any bells?

:headvswal

All these threads about Moderation seem a big fuss about nothing, which have all started becuase Paul vs Ryan thread was Moderated.

That thread was correctly moderated.....Paul had has his say, and rightly so, but others were joining in, and Ryan was away on Holiday. So it was rightly closed, until Ryan returns and can reply.

Without taking sides, you can't say fairer than that !

Ring any bells! ;)
