Do a ecu check if you get code 34 = det sensor

Code34 will only show if det sensor or its harness has failed. It does not show if you had had Detonation.

Detting is audible, kind of like the sound of lots of metal screws being shaken in a tin can.

you would be better going to a rolling road and get them to check your afr and they will listen for det with an aftermarket det sensor

worth spending 40 odd quid to find out for definate

why would the engine make any difference, they are the same, differences are all in the ECU.
