I was wondering the same myself, pity they didn't show the car realy.

180sx...from what i know its the Jap version of the 200sx - the 180sx had climate control as standard and used the 2 litre SR20DET engine intead of the CA18DET (i think thats what its called) which is the 1.8...

240sx was the American wasn't it?

I have seen the 180 on ebay before. it is a better and faster car than the 200 not sure but i think the 200 is 2ltr and the 180 a 1.8??

the american version was the 240sx, same spec as the uk 200sx s13, the japs had 200sx s13, same as ours but if im right the 180sx also known as a sil-80 is a 200sx with the sr20 engine and fixed headlights and slightly different front, 500bhp fook me i bet that flew!

The 180sx is the japanese market 200sx s13/silvia, it comes with the sr20det slightly larger 2.0 litre engine as opposed to the uk's Ca18det 1.8, it has climate control on most and fold in wing mirrors.

 

I have two 200sx's and my 300zx and I have to say I love both of them just as much as the zed lol !

180 sx jdm name came in 1.8 and 2.0/ 200sx 1.8 turbo only europe and uk/240sx US name 2.4 na engine 2 body styles avalible in the us hatch and coupe with pop ups [onevia in japan].jdm market also got a S bodied coupes 1.8/2.0 turbo and na /auto/manual.these had fixed headlights and a boot not a hatch badged silvia /jack/queen/king /model specs.Nissan also done a limited run drift car the sileighty silvia fixed lights front hatchback rear sr20det powered. :D

To clear this up a bit as it's quite miss informed. The 180SX (S13) is the JDM name for the car and had the CA18DET engine, while the UK version was called 200SX (S13) and had the same CA18DET engine, the US was called 240SX and had a 2.4l NA, not sure what type of engine that was. Around 94/95 in Japan when the new 200SX (S14) with the SR20DET engine was release they (Nissan) realised people still liked the old S13 style and then made a run of S13s powered with an SR20DET engine instead. I do believe they called them 180SX Type-X.
