Well as you can see 88mm Wesco pistons, Eagle conrods, NA oil squirters, Toga big end and small end bearings + bronze valve stem guides and then all the stuff that in my rides section that was on my previous engine build.

Thought they were Wesco pistons as i saw the bag hehe,

If you don't mind me asking where did you buy them from?

Were they a kit?

and how much?

http://www.amzperformance.com. $1200 for Piston Rods and Bearings.

http://www.z1motorsports.com do a full rebuild kit with complete gasket set etc for $1598, but are reluctant to mark the value down so could cost you about £350 import duty. AMZ marked it down and it only cost £11.

cool that will give me something to think about, engine is out so might consider it.

I was going to wait and have a Jun rebuild, but now i'm not sure what to do.

"Jun rebuild"!!!!!!! ££££££££££££££00000000000000000000's and no garentee, so if it goes pop staight away you just own a big box of expensive bits. Get Phil at C & S Woods to build it for you.

Yea good point, was hoping it would last a lil while though :D

Already booked it in now with a local bloke but i've taken it to him loads times now, always does a great job.

He is going to strip the engine as it's out and see what condition the internals are in, then we will go from there. Plus i want to see if the previous garage was giving me bull on the condition of the bearings.

A rebuild is only as good as the engineer who does it. I know from bitter experience having spent £1000's only in 2004/5 to have a car that only managed 2000 miles, because they asured me that it only needed honing. :headvswal . Hine sight is a wonderful thing. So what ever you do choose carefully, because it will cost a lot if the lump has to come out again.

Looking good Mark, Phil was working on your block this afternoon when I called in.

Standard size Toga racing shells and small ends.

Hey Mark,

I saw your zed on Saturday when I picked mine up from Phil. The engine is looking great so far mate.

Ah it was yours on the ramp on Thursday then?

Yep I'm abserlutely over the moon so far. Its the first time I've been to a Z garage where they ring me up every morning and tell me what they've done and send pics. Normal Z garages leave you for months in the dark :nono:

not Phil. He has even told me I carn't put my rocker covers back on as they were and I've had to have em reprayed. Shit he's even painted my fuel rail today because it didn't look up to the quality of the rest of it.

Besides the rebuild he's put the proper clutch master on the car, bolted the clutch peddle box in properly because Kung Foo hadn't even bolted it to the bulkhead and generally started fixing all the shit half finished jobs they did.

The guy is a star.
