My ownership of my NA hasnt been uneventfull but when i get it fixed again i might sell her. Got my eye on a R34 GTT, are these as much fun to drive and as unreliable though. Not driven one yet?????

What do you thing guys????

The 34 is a lot newer so should be relaible.

IMO the GTR is the one to have - not cheap though. The GTT doesn't look nearly as special (or go as well). IMO anyway!

If I sold my 300 tomorrow and got a new car it'd be a DC5 Integra.

Don't sell Zed for a Skyline just have both

Only you can answer this question mate...

go drive one, see what you think

personally i'd sell the Z for a skyline!!

Although a mate of mine took one for a test drive, floored it and blew the engine (dont ask details i dont know... )

so he settled for a BMW instead!

Car goes in to be repaired tomorrow , try to get a test drive in the mean time.

test drives not the easist thing to get from my experiance, ive never driven a skyline and was looking for one at the same time i was looking for a zed (un-decided between the two). Anyone with a sh1t skyline was happy to let you drive it (but whats the point if you know its not been looked after before you start it!) and the good ones dont want "test pilots". In the i managed to find my zed and am pleased but if your after a drive think one of the uk forums be a good start and just offer the guys a go in your zed, should grease the wheels a bit.

I had an R33 GTS before the Z...

I must admit the R33 did have such a reputation in the car world of being 'The' Import car to have due to the name 'Skyline' and was always getting stares and glances from the chavs but to an ordinary Focus driver on the street they would never really pay much attention as it just looked like a modded saloon.however one good advantage was the availiabilty of parts and the ability to tune the RB25DET

However now ive got the Z everybody from chavs in novas to grannies on the pavement look when parked up or driving past.theres not another car on the road thats affordable to the average bloke as a Z32 that gives such a road presence.

It is such an underestimated car and quite a few 'Jap entuasisats' i have met were completely blown away by the spec of the car.

All i can say is go for it if you want a GTT after you have taken one out as everyone has their own likes/dislikes,but you wont be blown away by the performance compared to a TT Z32

Mate, ther is no argument that teh chassi is better than the Z, but not by much, its newer. But

It looks like a voxhal carlton for christ sakes.

Personally, i would always be thinking that i should have bought a gtr intread of a gtt.

In my opinion its like buying a boxter , people will look at it and think, pah, couldnt afford a real porsche...

After driving a few GTT's, GTST's the other week, i was disapointed in the performance, I got back into my NA andeven thou it didnt have the torque like a tubbied car has i much preffered it.

There is only one Skyline to be had and its the GTR buddy.
