This was while i had a piddly 2 litre granada estate, was coming down what used to be smisby road (before they built the bypass) it was a straight run of 1/4 of a mile so you could see all the way down.

Me and my mate used to see how many we could overtake down there, chris got 8, i managed 10.

Never bettered it on a single 60mph section of road. Admittedly i was doing over a ton by the end of the overtake.

He never bettered it lol

Anyone else?

mine was just today in a transit van passed about 15 cars

mind they were all parked up at the time lol

8 cars, a coach, and a couple of lorries. Found out at the end of the overtake that they were all stuck behind this old guy doing 35 - 40 mph. I'd already driven about 300 miles that day and had around another 200 to go before I got home so wasn't in the mood for being messed around at all. That's going back about 5 years and at the time I was driving a 1.6 Clio.

2k??!!?!?!?

Why??

Apparently, 65 miles of flat out top end is not good for a zed, especially if it has a hole in the water pipe.......

had a tiny water leak from a rear hose, the long period of flat out speed blew all the water out and blew the engine.....

but we live and learn

2 lorrys and about 12 cars which were all trawling behind this tractor on the A16

That road is overtaking heaven..............maxsunny (jack) should confirm that as hes from around that area
