fitted my new breathable catch tank today ;) will replace all the hose for blue and braided in the very near future but it all works which is more important ;)

looking good mate (insert stuipid question here ---> whats the catch tank do? just catch oil from the turbo lines or something?

 

it replaces the oem breathing system ie the pcv valves and filters the vapours from the cams etc which also carries small amounts of sludge oil etc so it takes it in the vapours and settles in the can hence oil catch tank :)

 

but i originally put in a sealed tank and it pressurised the engine and blew a load of oil out the dip stick!! but this one breaths nicely :hyper: in fact you wouldnt believe how much vapours goes through it
