Ok, as ive mentioned before the car wont idle when its cold,

Now when im chaging gear (still when cold) it sounds like a toy car moving type of noise, very hard to explain really, maybe air escaping somewhere or something :confused:

Anyone got any ideas what this might be

Like I said, certain things should be replaced before fitting engines into cars.

 

its leaking from the filter bracket itself not no gasket,if a secoind hand engine is fitted this may go un-noticed,if theres a hairline crack then shit happens unfortunatly,warranty on a second hand engine nah LOL

 

the only seals you replace that make common sense,externally is the rear,front cam,sprocket seals,if your replacing every gasket then you may aswell rebuild the whole damn thing

The warranty just says its a 3 month warranty on the email i received before i bought the engine. Then once i got the receipt and things a couple of weeks after i got the engine that said its a 90day limited warranty. And thats litterally all its says about it, not what is and isn't covered or anything, at the moment i havent said where its came from because the guy asked me not too say mate, i know that doesn't answer your question lol :headvswal
