I have a JDM spec TT. Think my oil pressure is not working 100%.

What should it be sitting at when car is warm?

1. idling

2. foot down on throttle.

Thanks?

should be between 2-4 when warm and may sit around 6-8 when cold, due to pressure being higher when cold

when at full throttle pressue should increase to 6-8 ,but the stock gauge gives poor readings due to the tiny pinhole stock sender which can be opended up slightly using a v.fine drill bit,or better replace for a better aftermarket gauge like defi or greddy

my old engine read like you said Greg, but the new one reads much lower.

DO you think it may be the oil pressure sensor??

I still have the old engine, may just swop over.

More than likely just the sensor/gauge, They are famously useless
